**Job Overview** Qualcomm’s Advanced Content and Developer Technologies Group is seeking an experienced software engineer to work directly with leading commercial 3D game engines and content developers from around the world to drive engine level enhancements and optimizations for the Snapdragon platform.
The production quality and consumer expectations for mobile gaming, VR, and AR applications have risen tremendously over the past few years and continue to race upwards. At the same time, the performance of Snapdragon based mobile devices has grown exponentially, with an over 200x performance improvement in the Adreno GPU alone over the past 5 years. This position is focused on the intersection these software and hardware trajectories where you will work to optimize and enhance commercial 3D game engines to showcase the latest Snapdragon features.

**Minimum Qualifications** 10+ years experience in the following:
+ C/C++ Expertise
+ Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 (source level)
+ 3D graphics related mathematics
+ Experience with DirectX, OpenGL, or OpenGL ES
+ Experience developing, profiling, and optimizing modern rendering algorithms
+ Understanding of modern PC, console, and mobile game engine rendering pipelines
+ Knowledge of Android OS and Android application development
+ Experience using low-level graphics APIs such as Vulkan or DirectX 12
+ Familiarity with 3D graphics profilers and debuggers such as Snapdragon Profiler, RenderDoc, Pix, NSight, etc
+ Comfortable working with large multi-million-line code bases
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
+ Willingness to travel both domestic and internationally
**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
