POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Hourly
LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

Assisting the Centralized Purchasing Services Department with a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
Updating ordering and purchasing logs
Process and distribute purchasing reports to multiple Alcal locations
Follow up on Open Purchase Order report with locations
Audit and update reports including reviewing Yard Tags
Update distribution orders
Follow up with Vendors on updated documents & statements
Various other administrative duties as assigned
Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Other duties may be assigned.
Associate’s degree or equivalent from college or technical school; or one year of accounting experience preferably in the construction or building materials industry with multiple locations
Must be able to operate a personal computer and other various standard office equipment
Hands on experience with SAP is highly preferred but not required
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Excellent customer service skills with an ability to develop strong relationships with locations and customers
Valid CA Driver’s License
