RESPONSIBILITIES: The Condor Academy Assistant Director shall be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Condor Academy operations, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal guidelines. Shall support goals of the Academy to enhance learning and development of all students. Shall monitor student enrollment and activities and ensure the best possible learning experience for the students.
REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) years Educational Administrator or related work experience demonstrating the knowledge and abilities, and a Bachelor’s degree with major work in Education, business, public relations or related field. Must have a valid driver license, good driving record, own automobile and adequate insurance.
KNOWLEDGE OF: Principles and processes for providing customer service including student needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service and evaluation of student satisfaction or development; business principles involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources; rules and regulations governing educational institutions; on-line communication principles and guidelines.
ABILITY TO: Plan and review operations; interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations; analyze, assess and measure effectiveness of student educational progress and recommend changes for improvement when necessary; communicate effectively; work with people from diverse backgrounds and skill levels; organize and maintain records and prepare reports; operate computer equipment; and travel on a regular basis.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess strong communication, analytical and assessment/evaluative skills.
STARTING PAY: $24.74 to $25.74 per hour DOE
