The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire a student assistant. The student will be working under close supervision of the Chief, Community Planning Branch, in a learning capacity, the student assistant/Transportation Planner Intern will gain transportation planning experience in a collegian environment with creative ideas for solving complex transportation problems. The student will be exposed to a variety of transportation planning issues and trends while participating in activities related to the Caltrans Planning and Local Assistance activities.
