**Job Overview** The QCL Legal department includes 4 lawyers and 2 contract administrators and provides a one-stop shop for all contracting matters in Qualcomm Life. QCL legal reviews, negotiates, and administers sales and resale contracts, software licenses, nondisclosure agreements, procurement contracts, supply-chain contracts, and marketing documents.

This position performs a wide variety of contract administration tasks on a wide variety of contracts. Contract administration duties includes providing form contracts; negotiating contracts, responding to frequently asked questions about contracts, and profiling contracts in the contract-management system, supervising long-term projects, creating new contract-approval workflows, migrating historical contracts, and performing compliance reviews of existing contracts. Administrative duties entail input of contracts into contracts management system, researching the status of current contract terms, corresponding about contracts and fielding responses from internal term members to inform contract negotiations. In addition, the contract administrator will work with our Legal Information Technology team to develop programs to deploy contract management solutions and to monitor retention of electronic documents.

The successful applicant will be able to maintain project lists and track negotiation status of up to 100 contracts at a time and will facilitate contract execution and record-keeping.

**Minimum Qualifications** Minimum of 5 years experience with the following:

– Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts

– Use of contract management/tracking tools or systems, such as Access, Novatus or similar systems

– Experience with redlining/track-changes software such as Word Compare or Workshare/DeltaView

– Use of MS Word and MS Excel

– Experience designing contract templates and business procedures

**Preferred Qualifications** -Experience with management of high volume of independent tasks

-Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up type of environment

-Ability to balance competing priorities

-Proficiency in French language

-Experience with contract language specialized to medical device, data privacy, software licensing and indemnification

**Education Requirements** Bachelors Degree and Paralegal Certificate or 10+ Years Relevant Experience Required
