The Manager of Culture and Engagement will work with the talent management team to provide expertise in the design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions, processes, and programs to enhance the organizational culture, employee engagement, and employee value proposition. The individual will partner with cross-functional teams and HR Business Partners to identify and develop solutions based on business priorities and analytics.
+ Works with the HR community to develop and execute our employee engagement strategy across the organization.
+ Design, deploy, and oversee an employee life-cycle program, including developing survey content, administration methodologies, statistical reporting, and action planning.
+ Create tools and resources to enable managers to understand and use employee feedback data to identify key drivers of engagement and develop effective action plans aligned to the needs of the business
+ Design and deploy resources and tools to further embed the USF culture across all employee populations using proven best practices, cultural fit, and grounded in data.
+ Design and execute our culture implementation strategy by leveraging our network of Culture Champions
+ Partner with members of Talent Management team to design programs embedding our cultural beliefs
+ Work with cross-functional teams to develop our inclusion and diversity strategy to enhance the company’s ability to attract, develop, and retain a high performing, diverse workforce.
+ Design and develop employee programs to identify specialized needs for key employee segments, such as high incumbent roles
+ Ability to develop quick turn-around and provide practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast moving environment
+ Manage the vendors/partners in executing effectively deliver of programs and initiatives.
+ Accountable for the overall delivery of projects and programs, including the day-to-day activities of the project team, project objectives, content development, critical insights and analysis, delivery of presentations and workshops, and quality of written work products.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within employee engagement, organizational culture, diversity and inclusion, employee value proposition or employer branding, and employee opinion surveys. They are intellectually curious and are motivated by problem solving, project management, and building relationships. They have strong interpersonal skills as they need to work effectively at all levels of an organization—from individual contributors and managers to executives.
+ Doctorate in Industrial / Organizational Psychology is preferred but a Doctorate or Master’s degree (MBA, MA, MS) in a related field will be considered
+ Minimum of five years of experience in talent management or related area.
+ Strong research, data analysis, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills are critical
+ Experience working with executives and line managers to measure and improve business performance and/or employee engagement a plus
+ Minimum of 5 yearsdeveloping and delivering training and consultation to leaders on engagement and culture programs, including survey action planning, focus groups, inclusion programs, and culture workshops.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
+ A minimum of 3 years experience in leadingteams, collaborate within and across functions, and work in a team environment is extremely important.
+ Experience managing large datasets in Excel, SPSS, SAS or MS Access a plus
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to facilitate discussion with senior client teams, grasp and clearly communicate complex ideas, experience creating graphical representations of data
+ Advanced analytical skills, demonstrated ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data; proficient in distilling massive amounts of data into important insights for senior executives
+ Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize demands, proficiency managing discrete efforts across engagement lifecycle
+ Strong work ethic, customer-service focus; willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities; creatively think about how to provide the highest level of service and optimal outcome
