**Job Overview**

+ Responsible for championing high quality for Qualcomms strategic Korean customers

+ Drive cross functional technical teams to identify containment and determine root cause for Quality issues. Cross functional teams may consist of Design, Software, Verification/Integration, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Failure Analysis, Customer Engineering, Sales Ops and Supplier Quality Engineering

+ Be the San Diego Quality voice for the Korean customers

+ Work closely with customer to fully understand their business from a quality perspective

+ Escalate potential issues to Qualcomms management to avoid customer crisis and ensure quality

+ Provide Qualcomms cross functional team with customer priorities to properly focus team

+ Oversee RMA process and aggressively drive to minimize RMA cycle time

+ Write and deliver customer facing presentations to communicate frequent technical status and deliver technical solution

+ Resolve complex issues through in-depth data mining, hands on technical analysis and strong technical leadership while automating routine task

+ Make decisions and determine root cause based on well thought-out data and facts

+ Improve efficiency via metrics optimization and monitoring such as RMA cycle time, repeat failures, issues effecting multiple customers, DPPM, etc **Required Skills/KnowledgePeople Expertise**

+ Proven ability to work with both external and internal customers

+ Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment to achieve commitments and ensure proper process is followed

+ Strong verbal and written skills. Ability to clearly organize and articulate information

+ Ability to influence others to overcome complex challenges, drive to decision or inspire new ways of thinking

+ Global team player, open to change, can do attitude and demonstrated process improvement leadership

+ Fluent in Korean is highly desirable **Technical Expertise**

+ Proven background in Microelectronics, surface mount technology, semiconductor fabrication, assembly and FA

+ Strong understanding of IC test and how it correlates with system behavior

+ Solid product debug experience

+ Demonstrate problem solving skills driving multifunctional teams consisting of design through manufacturing

+ Data mining skills using tools such as Optimal+, Data Power, JMP, SAS, QlikView

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ >7 years of customer management experience

+ >15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a wide breadth of knowledge including (Design, DFT, Packaging, Characterization, Test, Reliability, Fab, Assembly and Failure Analysis)

+ BS Electrical Engineering (MS is preferred)

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Handset Systems Knowledge:a) Understanding of the key components of the individual subsystems and how they are expected to interactb) Understanding how handset failure symptoms correlate to customer reported fail signatures

+ Expertise in digital, analog and RF

+ Analyzing LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, GSM , 1x, EVDO, UMTS modes issues, Apps processors Camera, Audio, Video encoding and graphics validations issues, Hardware verifications on CPU, GPU, Memory, RAM, DDR, L1, L2, Cache, Vnum, Neon, Modem, SW, FW

+ RF Test equipment (such as Agilent Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, VNA)

+ fluency in the Korean Language

**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s, Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master’s, Electrical Engineering
