This is a remote position. Occasional travel to corporate headquarters in Vista, CA for department/company meetings.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
You’re an excellent copywriter and content creator—with a passion for using words and content to drive awareness and engagement. You are a strong storyteller who brings creativity, project management, and a results-driven mindset to the table.
At Dr. Bronner’s, you will work within our Marketing Department using content marketing principles to tell the stories that create emotional connections with our customers around our products and causes, motivating them to take action.
Your duties will include to:
Write or edit high-quality, thought-provoking content in various formats, including blog posts, email newsletters, and web pages.
Execute content projects for both product-related and cause-centered campaigns from start to finish, including project management (kickoff, timelines, review), writing, research, SEO keyword research, editing, managing internal stakeholder input to ensure quality and alignment, and developing a robust distribution strategy for each content asset.
Collaborate with the Content Editor and members of the Content Team to input into content planning and the content calendar.
Track key metrics for content marketing success; regularly evaluate how content is performing in terms of views, keyword rankings, conversions, etc.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
5+ years in content marketing or copywriting for B2C business
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
A high sense of urgency, impeccable organization, and project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and with multiple stakeholders
Ability to follow editorial governance and coach other writers to ensure content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone
Superb written and verbal communication skills, you love writing compelling copy and content
Any combination of educational and work experience that would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for consideration of this position.
