Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) is a world leader in 3G and 4G modem technology
and our DSP firmware team is actively seeking new members. These positions involve the development of DSP firmware in embedded C on proprietary DSP platforms for a variety of wireless modem products. Successful candidates will participate in the design,
implementation, integration, and verification of fixed-point DSP firmware, and contribute to
the architectural design of current and next generation wireless modem technologies.

Candidates are primarily responsible for the implementation of communication algorithms in real-time, fixed-point embedded C. You will also work closely with Communication System Engineers and Modem ASIC Designers to implement, optimize and influence the current and long term design of our modems.
**Professional Attributes and Desired Skills:**
+ A proven track-record of professional and/or academic success in several of the following areas:
+ Real-time embedded C programming and/or C programming
+ Communication systems, communication theory, digital signal processing (DSP)
+ Low level implementation of algorithms on an embedded processor
+ Microcontroller programming for control of hardware devices
+ Familiarity with programming in resource constrained environments (MIPS, Memory)
+ Fixed-point programming
+ Must have the ability to work well in a team environment working on multiple projects with challenging deadlines
+ Position can be located in either of the following locations: San Diego and Santa Clara in CA and Boxborough, MA
**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master’s, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
