Job Responsibilities:

+ Run weekly power extraction and present the state and evolution of DSP power.

+ Work with CAD and vendor to enhance flow & tool

+ Develop or automate local flow to enable fastest extraction (e.g. RTL2gate) or report

+ Work with performance team to ensure we have vector reflecting power

+ Work with SoC team to define accurate use case for out DSP core.

+ In charge of driving RTL/Architecture team to lower power (find RTL power bug, file and track CR)

+ Track power milestone across all our core and ensuring power leads are meeting deadline

+ Drive PPA study to get proper freq target and PnR recipe

+ This require Intensive use of PTPX

+ This require some use of PowerArstist

+ This require Intensive use of TCL/PERL.

+ This require an extremely good understanding of power and how design and implementation affects it.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

+ 5+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.

+ 8+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

+ 2+ years experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF).

+ 2+ years experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software.

+ 2+ years experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc.

+ 1+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
