Overview
The largest provider of mobile SoC (system on chip) solutions. Adreno GPU has been the industry leading mobile graphics solution and has been the dominating GPU in todays smart phone market. Our power efficient GPU solution is fundamental to enable the new exciting markets like VR, IoT, AI, drone, autonomous driving etc.
The Qualcomm GPU Team is seeking experienced Graphics ASIC Design, Verification and Graphic Systems Software engineers who possess industry experience in some of the areas below:
**Graphics ASIC Design engineers:**
-Architecture and micro-architecture design of the ASIC, RTL design and synthesis, logic and timing verification. Previous experience in designing GPU or CPU cores and ASICs for Multimedia and Graphics applications in deep sub-micron CMOS processes for volume production
-Experience with Verilog/VHDL design, Synopsys synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, low power design, test plan development, coverage-based design verification, and/or design-for-test (DFT)
-Experience with Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, C/C++ programming languages is desired – Exposure to DX9~12 level graphics HW development is big plus
**Graphics Verification Engineers:**
Verification skills: test planning, test bench architecture, assertions, problem solving and debug
Constrained Random Verification experience with SystemVerilog using OVM or UVM
Coverage driven verification(code/functional/assertion coverage)
Verilog or VHDL, C/C++, Tcl/Perl/shell-scripting
Candidates with 2D/3D graphics and compute standards, such as DirectX, OpenGL and OpenCL are preferred
RTL design experience and/or very strong OO programming experience is also a plus
**Graphics Systems Engineer:**
Experience with GPU HW and/or SW and/or applications using OpenCL, CUDA, Vulkan or Metal. Knowledge of 3D graphics concepts and APIs.
Experience with Ray tracing
Experience with device driver development
Familiar with real-time computing graphics technology
Working experience on large scale system software
Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering
Preferred: Master’s in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering
