Qualcomm’s Graphics System Team is responsible for the development of end to end and system on chip (SOC) architectural solutions for next generation of graphics processing units (GPUs) and compute devices. Position Overview:

Cycle approximate GPU architecture simulator/model development

Enable graphics&compute workload (VR/AR, Deep Learning, Vulkan, DX etc.) on GPU models

Deep dive GPU performance analysis to help identify hardware, architecture and software optimization opportunities

+ GPU performance model / RTL correlation to improve model accuracy

+ Bottleneck analysis and analysis flow automation

+ Graphics workload analysis and performance profiling in the model

+ Architecture feature evaluation in the performance model

+ Develop/maintain powerful regression system and auto tools to improve delivery quality and efficiency

+ GPU Model maintenance and support in the SoC simulation environment

**Minimum Qualifications** **Industry experiences in the following areas:**

+ Programming experience in either: C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, Java/Web

+ OS experience: Unix/Linux, Windows

+ Graphics Programming experience: OpenGL and/or DirectX, OpenCL and/or CUDA

+ Computer architecture experience: pipelines, caches, latency, throughput

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ PHD Degree preferred

+ Communication skills: presenting with confidence with upper management, synthesizing message succinctly with clarity

**Education Requirements** Required: Master’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Doctorate, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
