Zipline Adventure Guide

A fun adventure for the whole family, LA JOLLA ZIP ZOOM is a two-hour guided tour featuring four thrilling zipline courses.

La Jolla Zip Zoom has four courses ranging from 300 feet to over 2700 feet in length with speeds up to 55mph! Our equipment provides a safe, comfortable, and exciting zipline experience for all guests. We also have side-by-side lines so you can share your adventure with a family or friend and enjoy the spectacular views of Palomar Mountain, Pauma Valley, and the La Jolla Indian Reservation while having fun!

Job Description:

The La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians is seeking candidates for multiple Zipline Adventure Guide positions. The primary responsibilities of the position are to ensure guest safety, generate excitement, and create an unforgettable experience for each customer. Adventure Guides will report to the Zipline Operations Manager with general oversight from the Tribal Administrator and La Jolla Tribal Council.

Duties:

Execute daily opening and closing procedures of the zipline course

Conduct complete inspections of all course components and gear

Ensure the highest level of customer safety is maintained at all times

Provide orientation to each tour group

Assist with zipline course maintenance efforts

Maintain clear communication staff and supervisor

Assist where needed per Manager

Qualifications:

Customer service and tourism industry experience

General knowledge of the Southern California region

CPR/AED First Aid knowledge and training

Skills:

Excellent inability to understand and execute detailed instructions

Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively

Friendly, energetic attitude

Reliable and punctual

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Salary:  DOE

Position:   Full Time / Part Time (including some weekends and holidays)
