A fun adventure for the whole family, LA JOLLA ZIP ZOOM is a two-hour guided tour featuring four thrilling zipline courses.La Jolla Zip Zoom has four courses ranging from 300 feet to over 2700 feet in length with speeds up to 55mph! Our equipment provides a safe, comfortable, and exciting zipline experience for all guests. We also have side-by-side lines so you can share your adventure with a family or friend and enjoy the spectacular views of Palomar Mountain, Pauma Valley, and the La Jolla Indian Reservation while having fun!

Salary:  DOE

Position:   Full Time (including weekends and holidays)

Job Description:

The La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians is seeking candidates for Zipline Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Tribe’s Zipline enterprise and execution of an approved business strategy. The Assistant Manager will report to the Operations Manager with general oversight from the Tribal Administrator.

Duties:

Execute daily opening and closing procedures of zipline

Implement safety and maintenance standards and procedures

Ensure the highest level of customer safety is maintained at all times

Provide excellent customer service

Assist with monthly sales goals and strategies

Assist with approved marketing strategy

Train, schedule, and supervise staff

Help manage POS system

Help maintain operation schedules

Maintain clear communication with Operations Manager

Any other duties assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

Customer service, tourism, and management experience

Knowledge of zipline safety standards and operations

Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills

Marketing and branding knowledge

Previous work experience with an Indian Tribe and/ or Municipal Government experience is preferred

Skills:

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

Understanding of business and marketing principles

Ability to understand and execute detailed instructions

Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively

Team building and leadership skills

Friendly, energetic attitude

Reliable and punctual

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Licenses, Certificates, and Special Requirements:

Possession of a valid California Driver License and a clean driving record necessary.
