**Job Overview** Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of power delivery and analysis including package and on die distributions

– Develop system level Power Integrity analysis and sign-off plans

– Collaborate with circuit, PCB, package and tool providers

– Perform end to end modelling and PDN analysis

– Drive modelling optimization efforts balancing performance, cost and schedule

– Provide status to team leadership

– Perform hardware validation/correlation of power integrity

**Minimum Qualifications** At least 10 yrs experience required in the following areas:

– Designing SoC Power Delivery Networks

– Designing and analyzing power gating networks, including current in-rush and droop analysis

– Design and analysis of decoupling networks

– On die power grid analysis and design

– SerDes and DDR noise analysis

– Experience working test engineers validating power delivery in hardware

– Familiarity with Cadence circuit design and layout software and Apache Redhawk

– Direct experience with lab characterization: High Speed Oscilloscope, BERT, Spectrum analyzer

– Tools and modeling experience: HSpice, Ansys HFSS, Agilent ADS, Ansys Designer, Sigrity PowerSI, Ansys SIWave or comparable, Allegro/SIP, Sigrity T2B, IBIS, IBIS-AMI

– Background in 2D and 3D electromagnetic modeling, transmission line theory

– Background in statistics and probability theory

**Preferred Qualifications** – Direct experience with chip and package extraction tools, e.g., Star-RCXT, Sentinel-PSI, SiWave

– Hands-on experience with statistical methods and tools, such as DOE and JMP

**Education Requirements** Required: Master’s, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Doctorate, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
