**Job Description:**

**Basic Purpose-**

Responsible for the safe, accurate and timely selection and loading of all outbound product. Ensures security of the entire facility during the night. Strives to make the night warehouse operate in a profitable and safe manner.


Responsible for development of Night WarehouseSupervisors through training on policy & procedures, education by assistingin problem resolution when required and leading by example. Creates a cohesiveorganization by keeping lines of communication open and directs workforce toinsure efficient workflow.

Responsible for interview, hiring, review,discipline and termination process for night warehouse personnel.

Develops operation plan for daily loads,communicates plan with supervisors and lead personnel and ensures that trucksare completed within timelines. Creates load plans for individual trucks toensure weight restrictions are met and special customer requests areaccommodated.

Monitors a variety of operational data, includinginventory losses, production goals and safety reports. Identifies problems,determines causes and recommends changes to the Director/VP of Operations toproduce zero-error benchmark on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Oversee the maintenance of the physical condition ofthe warehouse and its equipment in compliance with OSHA requirements.

In Union facilities, assists in interpreting theprovisions of the collective bargaining agreement.

Education/Training **:** High school diploma or equivalentrequired; college degree preferred.

RelatedExperience **:** A minimum of fiveyears experience in warehouse supervision required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities **:** Able to interpret financial and operational data; Basic computer skills;Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HAACP and other regulatoryrequirements; Strong leadership, communication and people development skills;broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
