**Job Overview** The Platform Development Team in Qualcomm is responsible for developing smart automated platform solutions used for chipset circuit and system validation across multiple product lines. Job role includes working with Design/Systems/Test teams to understand platform use cases, define algorithm and implement solution using Qualcomm SOCs, FPGAs and/or micro-controllers. Candidate should have hands-on experience with C based Code Integration for SOC modules (Clocks, DDRs, DSPs, Peripheral IO, etc.) and/or FPGA Firmware development including IP integration and emulation activities. Responsibilities also include validation of the developed platform features in the lab environment.

**Minimum Qualifications** Minimum of 5 years of prior experience working in silicon validation, embedded C, FPGA environments.

Candidates are expected to have experience with:

+ Embedded Software/Firmware design and code integration with C on CPU or DSP based targets

+ Debugging experience with low level software and hardware issues

+ FPGA based architecture development, simulation and RTL timing closure

+ Debug tools familiarity including JTAG debuggers, protocol analyzers, etc.

+ Driver development experience in Windows and .NET dll creation

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Understanding of mixed signal circuits and systems (amplifiers, data converters, PLLs, and voltage and current references)

+ Digital filter/DSP algorithm implementation on processors/FPGA

+ Experience with Python and/or LabVIEW

**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master’s, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
