Qualcomm is looking for RFIC applications engineers with demonstrated experience in RF characterization and debug to join our Qualcomm Front-end Team (QFE) and participate in the development for emerging mobile wireless applications. Join this rapidly growing team to develop highly integrated and innovative multi-mode/multi-band power amplifiers in emerging worldwide wireless standards such as LTE and UMTS. Responsibilities include RFIC characterization/validation/debug, and using lab automation to improve the speed of new product introduction.
Validation of power amplifier devices in automated lab environment which includes precision RF measurements and correlation with the customer and production environments. Support Field Applications team with deeper measurements and analysis. Direct customer technical interface with key customers in San Diego and Asia. Translating standards and applying to lab measurements. As an Applications Engineer, you will play a significant role in designing RFIC solutions for rapidly expanding markets in Wireless Connectivity in 3G/4G Cellular. **Minimum Qualifications** Required:
5 or more years of professional experience in the following areas:
– Applications or customer facing role.
– Working with analog principles and design at the board level
– Debugging analog/RF issues.
**Preferred Qualifications** Wireless communications experience
**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s, Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Masters or Doctorate, Electrical Engineering
