Candidate will perform extensive forensic analysis of licensees financial books, records and business practices. Interview key members of licensee staff and executive teams. Prepare supporting work paper files, quantify findings and damages, detailed exhibits and reports. Present findings to Qualcomm team, including executives. Prepare written communications to licensees. Work product is subject to extensive legal scrutiny and review. Negotiate with licensees to resolve issues and findings resulting from audits. Interface with third party auditing firms contracted by Qualcomm to also perform licensee audits, including preparation and collection of relevant data for contractors, giving detailed briefings in preparation for fieldwork, verifying that contractors are performing to expectations and addressing key issues, and reviewing results of audits and reports provided by contractors. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and preparing presentations for executive team for purpose of communicating results of licensee audit program, and to work closely with functional teams to monitor, test, and validate data; and Identify, develop, and propose alternative data metrics and assists in the design and maintenance of the data structures within TM1 and BI, with the assistance of IT specialists as needed.

2+ years in the following areas required:
– Microsoft Excel functions
– Accounting principles
– Relational databases
– Quantitative data analysis
– Forensic and investigative research
– Intellectual property standards and laws in the U.S. and China
– Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other internationally recognized anti-bribery and anti-money
Additional skills in the following areas considered a plus:
– Experience in a Public Accounting Firm
– English and Mandarin language skills
Position requires a Bachelors degree, in Accounting, Business or Finance and two (2) years of
experience in a related position. Public Accounting Firm experience desired. CPA Highly desired.
