The Research Sales Analyst is a new position and will be providing the Windows on Snapdragon sales team with the challenge insights they need to win accounts. The successful candidate will research directly and work with our international research team to track executive changes within key accounts, listen to earnings calls and identify business priorities, and conduct research to identify market shift opportunities.
In this position you will be responsible for:
+ Supporting the sales directors through deep technical engagement with IT implementers
+ Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on Qualcomms industry and customer base to provide sales team with insights
+ Assist sales team in weekly/ monthly reporting of business health, market dynamics, key account and segment business conditions
+ Identify both supply and demand risks and opportunities to ensure sales goals are achieved
+ Host regular meetings to communicate analysis and findings on the market and accounts to stakeholdersThe successful candidate will continually develop understanding and expertise of Qualcomms relevant marketplace and serve as a key source of business insights for the Windows on Snapdragon sales team. This role will also be responsible for creating new data insights and dashboards. He or she will be expected to communicate and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.

+ Bachelors degree in business, technology or related discipline
+ 3+ years in strategy, marketing or sales data analysis
+ Masters degree in business or technology is desirable
+ Prior experience in a similar role of sales research analytics is strongly preferred
+ Proficient knowledge of data analysis tools and familiarity with industry data sources
+ Strong Excel skills including creating pivot tables and charts, slicers, etc
+ Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
