**Job Overview** The RFFE process technology group of the QTI Operations Division is seeking an experienced RF device modeling engineer who will be responsible for RF III-V semiconductor device modeling and characterization for RF measurement/data analysis, in-house model development/validation and foundry PDK model QA. The candidate will work with process technology, PA design, and PDK teams serving the RFFE BU.

+ 5+ years of experience in the RF device modeling using ADS and ICCAP: GaAs transistor (HBT, E-mode and D-mode pHEMT), InP HBTs, GaN pHEMTs, and all RF passive components (TFR, Spiral inductors, MIM capacitors, Transmission lines, etc.)
+ 5+ years of experience in RF lab and RF measurements of devices on wafer: DC, S-parameter, single and two-tone Load-pull power measurements, CV, X-parameter, noise parameter.
+ EDA tools: ADS, ICCAP, Cadence, HFSS, and AWR.
+ Hardware: PNAX, VNA, signal generator, power meter/sensor, noise parameter, various DC source/monitors, Automatic Probe station with both RF and DC probes, mechanical tuners (Maury, Focus), SA and all type of RF test setup assembly components (Cable, connector, adaptor, attenuator, coupler, bias tee and etc.).
+ Software language: Verilog-A, AEL, and Python.
+ Expertise in RF device layout, p-cell & PDK is highly desired.
+ Expertise in EM (Momentum and FEM) simulations using ADS and HFSS is highly desired.
+ Understanding/experience RFIC especially GaAs HBT PA IC design is a plus.
+ Understanding/experience semiconductor bandgap engineering and epitaxial design in a plus.

Preferred: Master’s, Electrical Engineering
