**Job Overview** Qualcomm is the industry leader in 3/4/5G communication technology and the largest fabless semiconductor company in the world thanks to the products developed by our RF Front-end (RFFE) team. RFFE’s process development team is currently seeking a few ambitious CMOS Process Engineers to help us further our leadership in the development of next generation RF devices. This is a position where someone with some existing experience in foundry interaction or process integration can apply that expertise to the targeted development of new technologies and devices for advanced wireless front-end design. These designs include RF switches, low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), power amplifiers (PAs), passives, and support circuitry.

Come be a part of a team developing industry first wireless solutions utilizing state-of-the-art proprietary technologies. This role will include technology and device development at a foundry, TCAD simulations, RF and DC device characterization, and layout optimization using innovative device concepts to deliver next generation performance. Of particular importance will be an in-depth understanding of process integration and CMOS device development and optimization, as well as the practical aspects of RF device principles.

**Minimum Qualifications** BS degree + 5 years of industry experience in a process integration focused position OR:

MS degree + 2 years of professional work experience in a process integration role OR:

PhD degree with a thesis focus on process integration or device development.

All positions require above educational background AND experience in the following areas:

* CMOS technology development

* CMOS process integration

* CMOS or III-V device engineering

* Fab interaction

* Device characterization (RF and DC)

* Semiconductor and solid state physics experience

* CMOS process flow and ability to modify physical implementation of transistor structures

* Passionate self-starter and team player with experience in project leadership and proven track record in research oriented activities

**Preferred Qualifications** * Demonstrated experience bringing new devices/process flows to production

* CMOS Device research and development

* RF design tools and simulators

* RF circuit design (SOI CMOS)

* TCAD simulation tools

* Layout (Bulk & SOI CMOS)

* Ability to work with RF test equipment in the lab

**Education Requirements** Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics required.
