Candidate will work as a member of a team focused on development of highly integrated test solutions for 5GNR Qualcomm’s wireless communications chipset development in Bridgewater, NJ. **The responsibilities of this role also include:**
+ Your role will involve design of manual and automated SW tools for HW calibration, test and control, mostly focused on the RF subsystem.
+ Candidate will develop PC hosted applications as well as the corresponding embedded SW in support of those applications.
+ Working under close supervision.
+ Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact; Impact of decisions is readily apparent; errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).
+ Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
+ Completing most tasks with multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
+ Exercising some creativity to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.
+ Using deductive problem solving to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required **Additional responsibilities may also include:**
+ Develops design implementation, analysis, methodology, flows, and automation for development and validation of System on Chip, electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, and packaging.
+ Provides design solutions to evaluate, characterize and develop the design implementation solution for leading-edge products in the most advanced processes.
+ Interfaces with various cross functional teams (RF, Analog and Digital IC designers, Software, System Engineering, Test Engineers, Customer Engineering, and Operations) to drive and incorporate the latest design solutions in the production program to improve yield, productivity, and quality.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
+ 2+ years SW Engineering experience or related work experience.
+ 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
+ Experience in software development in telecommunications related field mostly employing C/C++ and C# including: Knowledge and experience with the standard test methodology for wireless communication technologies and good system level comprehension of the radio transceiver is required.
+ Excellent problem solving, team player, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
+ Working knowledge of Linux based host software development tools and processes is strongly preferred.
+ 4+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
+ 2+ years experience with Database Management Software.
+ 2+ years experience with API.
+ 2+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
+ 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
+ Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
+ Preferred: Master’s, Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
