Primary Purpose:

The Archer IRM Developer works within a team to design, develop, deliver and maintain solutions within SDGE’s implementation of RSA’s Archer IRM platform. Partners with business clients to document processes and requirements in support of developing an Archer solution.


Duties and Responsibilities

–  Designs, develops, and maintains Archer solutions in accordance with business acceptance criteria. Tests deliverables within a user story. A user story is a unit of work that is delivered within a sprint – typically captured with a specific format including acceptance criteria that act as requirements to note when the story can be accepted as complete. User Stories are provided by business clients.
–  Helps translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications.
–  Delivers end-to-end maintenance and support of all Archer solutions, performing triage and responding to incidents as needed. Identifies opportunities for automation and integration for continuous improvement.
–  Utilizes development skills to build Archer Solutions in alignment with agile mindset and values, working off user stories within an agile scrum team. Participates in team’s agile ceremonies (the 5 ceremonies involved in Scrum methodology: daily stand up, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospective), communicating progress, collaboratively solving problems, and contributing to the team’s success in delivering work as defined in sprint outcomes. Partners with team members and other functions within the technology organization when necessary.
–  Contributes to reviews and demos of technical specifications and program code as part of the technical team. Serves as an active contributor, bringing innovation and process improvement efficiencies to the team.
–  Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).



Required Qualifications: 

–  Bachelor’s Degree Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
–  3 years experience in Archer platform development, delivering solutions, developing and maintaining integrations with other systems.
–  Software Delivery Frameworks – Knowledge of delivery frameworks such as Agile Scrum, Kanban, and/or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Proven ability executing projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
–  Archer Development – Ability to develop Archer solutions, including core applications, questionnaires, and on-demand applications.
–  Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
–  We offer a hybrid work environment. Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow you to work from the office two to three days per week and work remotely on the remaining workdays.


Preferred Qualifications: 

–  Knowledge of Archer Datafeeds.
–  Knowledge of REST/SOAP API’s.

Work Schedule
HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 2-3 days per week.

Salary Range
$93,800.00 – $140,700.00
