**Job Overview** Job Function:
Essential member of the Flight Operations Team reporting to the Dir, Scheduling & Dispatch with an office located at Palomar Airport-Carlsbad. Responsible for scheduling and coordination of Qualcomm aircraft, flight crew and additional members of the Aviation Team. The successful candidate will interact with Qualcomm Executives and their Assistants, as needed, to deliver the highest level of safety and customer service
+ **Scheduler** . Responsible for effective, efficient aircraft scheduling and assignment of Qualcomm pilots and flight attendants to published trips. Due to the dynamic nature of the flight schedule, it is imperative that good judgment is exercised, to ensure the solution facilitates effective use of flight department and contract personnel. Proficient in the use of FOS scheduling software, or similar flight scheduling software is a requirement of this position
+ **Customer Service** . Provide high standards of customer service during aircraft operations. Disseminate flight information as needed to the appropriate personnel.
+ **Dispatcher** . Prepares and files flight plans, evaluates enroute, terminal weather conditions, provides trip/route briefings. Also coordinates ground handling for international flights, including overflight and landing permits. Assesses airport suitability worldwide
+ **Crew Travel Arrangements** . Responsible for flight crew travel arrangements (hotel, ground transportation and airline reservations) in furtherance of trips.
+ **Passport/Visa Processing** . Supports Qualcomm flight crew for passport processing and Visa applications. Liaison for processing Visas for contract flight crew. **Skills/Experience** :A professional, self-starter with a minimum of three (3) years of business aviation experience. Have full knowledge of aviation standards, procedures, and best practices for corporate flight departments. Working understanding of aviation regulatory requirements. Able to perform new assignments or additional duties with general direction as required. Strong written and verbal skills. Accuracy and high level of work ethic in handling confidential, proprietary information. Provide excellent customer service. Extremely attentive to details and able to prioritize projects and meet completion deadlines. Proficient in using FOS flight scheduling software or similar program**Position in Carlsbad**

**Minimum Qualifications** 3+ years Business Aviation experience
**Preferred Qualifications** B. S. Degree, FAA Dispatch Certification
