Quality Assurance Specialist-Under the direction of the Executive Director and working across both Concord and Lakeport sites, the Quality Assurance Specialist assists in the maintenance of SVTT programs and documentation in accordance with SVTT, federal and state regulatory standards ensuring that operational procedures are respected. Manages cases of non-compliance and help resolve operational issues to maintain optimum quality of services. Acts as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality. Maximize client service satisfaction every day.

The SVTT Quality Assurance Specialist will establish and monitor standard procedures for internal case reviews and monitor program compliance. Works with the other SVTT Mangers and Specialist to establish procedures, systems and quality standards and to monitor these against agreed targets. Also, focus on methods and tools to reduce delay and deficiencies of case management and client support activities including, but not limited to: transportation, youth services and career services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

I. Oversight of all SVTT case files and supporting documentation required to be contained within and entered into HANDLE (Rite Track).
II. Work to continuously improve the quality of case management services.
III. Achieve and maintain zero audit deficiencies each year.
IV. Conduct regularly scheduled internal case reviews to insure:
a. Eligibility determination was proper and supported by appropriate documentation and verification
b. Proper regulations and procedures were applied in rendering appropriate case decisions
c. Case decisions are supported by verification of applicable completed documents and case narration.
V. Review and submit for approval all SVTT payment vouchers while adhering to SVTT Federal Tribal TANF Plan, SVTT policy and Federal regulation.
VI. Conducts monthly internal audits to monitor SVTT’s compliance with grant requirements and provides recommendations to SVTT staff regarding the development of corrective action plans through the provision of quantitative and qualitative summary reports to staff.
VII. Monitors the effectiveness of administrative systems utilized by SVTT to comply with the terms and conditions of all government grants, contracts and cooperative agreements.
VIII. Manage quality related client complaint investigations.

IX. Support the development and implementation of improved quality reporting measures and perform training in all aspects of Quality Management Systems.
X. Keeps informed and up to date with Federal Regulations and OMB with respect to record keeping, SVTT Policies and SVTT Plan amendments.
XI. Responsible for quarterly federal reporting.
