In this position you will join the team responsible for the security certification and evaluations of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. This team works at a system level spanning across hardware, software and infrastructure while striving for industry-leading solutions. This team interacts with HW/SW engineering teams, the Qualcomm security lab, third party evaluation labs and evaluation authorities to successfully complete security evaluations of Qualcomm products.
This work will expose the candidate to all aspects of Hardware and Software Security design including architecture, IP development of cryptographic and other Security IP, security counter measures, security management, processes and certification requirements.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
+ 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
+ 7+ years HW/SW Security Engineering Certification and Security Management or related work experience
+ 4+ years Secure Systems Engineering or related work experience.
+ The successful candidate has a strong background in security concepts and implementation techniques.
+ Strong expertise of both FIPS and Common Criteria security evaluation processes and documentation.
+ Experience with security management, site security and security process deployment for development and manufacturing environments is a plus.
+ Experience with Common Criteria Certification under smart card protection profile highly desired.
+ Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms (SHA, AES, DES, ECC, RSA), their implementation methods and use models within high level protocols, is expected.
+ Experience with complex SOC integration and HW/SW IP development process from architecture spec to qualified silicon.
+ Knowledge of ASIC design including architecture, design verification of large SoC, RTL design, synthesis, and timing closure is a plus
+ Design experience and background in low power, high volume applications are a plus
