In this position you will join the team responsible for the Security Project Engineering of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Your role will encompass activities that come from providing the primary SoC Security Point of Contact function across multiple orgs and throughout the lifecycle of a security technology product. Your team will work at a project level, spanning across hardware, software and infrastructure while striving to provide industry-leading SoC security solutions. Your role is considered a primary technical leadership role within the Qualcomm product development teams and your work will be highly visible across multiple QCT and Qualcomm Corporate organizations.
This work will expose the candidate to all aspects of Hardware and Software Security design including architecture, IP development of cryptographic and other Security IP, security counter measures, and certification requirements.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
+ 5+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.
+ The successful candidate has a strong background and experience in architecting, developing, or validating SoC security technologies, methods, techniques and processes required to integrate security technologies and cores into large SoCs.
+ Strong familiarity with cryptographic algorithms (SHA, AES, DES), their implementation and use models within high level protocols, is expected.
+ This is a high level, high profile position, requiring interaction with cross-functional teams.
+ The candidate should have strong knowledge of ASIC design including architecture, Verilog/system Verilog for Design, verification of integrated system, RTL design, synthesis, and timing closure.
+ Experience with certification of Security Hardware is a plus.
+ Experience with complex SOC integration and IP development process from architecture spec to qualified silicon
+ Design experience and background in low power, high volume applications are a plus
Required: Master’s, Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Doctorate, Electrical Engineering
