Qualcomm is looking for RFIC design engineers with demonstrated experience in RF switch design to join our Qualcomm Front-end Team (QFE) and participate in the development for emerging mobile wireless applications. Join this rapidly growing team to develop advanced switches, tuners and integrated designs and architectures supporting MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, adaptive tuning and LNA/VGA integration.

Responsibilities include:

RFIC design and validation with skills in RF design and top level RF+Analog+Digital integration.

Design and Validate RF switch, tuner, LNA/VGA, LC filter and directional coupler products for mobile RFFE modules.

RF core design and top level integration

Coordinate analog and digital optimization with team of support staff

Work with Marketing to negotiate product specifications

 Design and Layout products

Simulate and optimize RF performance including extracted layout parasitics, devices and packaging.

Perform large and small signal analysis for prediction of s-parameters, IMD, harmonics.

Analyze and determine sensitivity to noise from digital and analog support circuitry.

Verify top level design compliance through mixed-mode analysis.

Generate DRC compliant IC layouts using library of reuse blocks.

Document and Report RF performance based on simulated results.

Validate products through bench level measurements.

Document and report simulated vs. measured results.

Include RF, analog and digital measurements.

Prepare test materials (packaging, PCBs, etc.) necessary as part of validation.

Prepare design validation report in preparation for hand off of product to characterization group.

Work with test engineers to specify RF Bench Characterization requirements.
