**Job Overview** As the Technical Program Manager for XR, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects using your engineering expertise. You will be at the leading edge of XR technology and influence the Technology Product interception and Roadmaps. You will own the requirements gathering from both internal architecture teams and from customer input. You will drive projects through the entire lifecycle being responsible for ensuring HW and SW teams meet project schedules, make technical trade-offs when needed, identify risks and clearly communicate these to project stakeholders and senior managers.
+ Manage the overall XR program schedules and priorities
+ Drive deliverables of multiple disciplines of engineering teams: Hardware subsystem chip design, Software, Reference Board Design, System Verification, Customer Engineering
+ Oversee timely disposition of day to day issues arising due to development of complex new technology and unpredictable or changing customer requirements
+ Co-ordinate activities across these multiple disciplines to ensure meeting customer driven schedule and quality
+ Manage new XR feature evaluation including prioritization, scoping development effort to stay within cost and schedule
+ Establish and maintain new process such as distribution of Hardware and Software Development Kits, support Software for commercialization
+ Interface with key ecosystem partners in development of reference designs and development kits
+ Communicate project priorities and status among engineering teams and across stakeholders and senior management through lifecycle of the project

**Minimum Qualifications** 7+ years in the following areas required:
+ Hands-on experience with multi-media HW or SW engineering, commercialization and processes with a later career emphasis on program management of those disciplines.
+ Experience with standard software development methodologies including source control (Git, Perforce, etc.. ) and defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc..)
+ Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
+ Experience with Microsoft tools like MS project, advanced Excel, power-point
+ Experience with multi-tasking on multi-projects with tight deadlines in order to understand, facilitate and guide a variety of disciplines (System Engineering, SW driver, Compiler, Firmware, Product Management, etc..)
+ Ability to manage, influence, and set direction of multi-faceted, multi-disciplined teams and programs independently with minimal supervision/mentorship.
+ Effective Communication skills, technical project presentations and teamwork skills
+ Ability to learn and adapt quickly
+ Detail and action oriented, self-starter, leader, delegator and motivator
+ Track record of proven leadership and program management
**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
