**Job Overview** The Senior Project Manager works under the general direction of the Project Management Director in the Professional Services team and is responsible for managing all aspects of Capsule services for a large number of projects. This includes providing direction, support and guidance to the technical field engineers tasked with delivering and installing Capsule products to customers throughout North America.

Expected capabilities:

+ Plan, organize and manage project resources and staff to deliver equipment, services and systems per the contract

+ Meet with sales staff and customer to understand project objectives and coordinate activities and schedules

+ Manage project scope and changes

+ Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and supervise day-to-day operational tasks

+ Manage Customers expectations to successfully implement Capsule solutions

+ Produce and maintain a client specific detailed project plan that reflects baseline, changing needs and requirements

+ Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership

+ Guide customer activities by defining tasks, activities and making recommendations

+ Facilitate team and client meetings effectively, holding status meetings, agenda, meeting minutes as needed with project team

+ Effectively communicates relevant project information to team and superiors

+ Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and manage customer expectations by communicating clearly

+ Identify project risks and develop risk management plans and mitigation strategies to address these risks

+ Able to manage a large number of different customer facing projects

+ Develop strong positive relations at all levels including C-level executive, Customer PM, IT, Biomedical, Clinical Nursing and Physician leadership

+ Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques

+ Possess general understanding in the areas of network architecture, application programming, HL7 interfaces, database and system design

+ Provide coaching and guidance to less senior staff

+ Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization

+ Act as an internal quality control check for the project

+ Contribute to performance reviews and staff development

+ Understand the Internet, Intranet and Extranet and client/server architecture

+ Have and maintain technical and healthcare industry knowledge and continued awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential impact on client engagements

+ This position is a Remote Position – Work From Home. US-based, can be anywhere.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ 10 + years Project Management managing application or integration projects and/or system implementations.

+ 3 + years Healthcare and analytical experience required working with Clinical Information Systems

+ 5 + years Project Management skills and proficiency with standard MS Office applications and Project Management software, such as MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint.

+ Ability to Work From Home

+ Up to 20% travel required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 20+ years Project Management experience in Health Care

+ Experience with Sales Force software application preferred

+ Experience with Sharepoint software application preferred

+ PMP Certification preferred

+ Prior experience with inventory management to manage customer orders and deliveries

+ Excellent presentation skills and oral and written communication skills.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships at the executive level in large hospital health systems

+ Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills at the executive level in large hospital health systems

+ Ability to manage technical projects including system integration

+ Effective leadership skills and able to work with team members at all levels of the organization

**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s

Preferred business degree or MBA, clinical background or relevant field
