As an experienced design verification engineer, you will be working as part of a global, fast-paced integrated wireless technology team developing and interfacing to various wireless technologies such as IEEE 802.11x, BT, FM and NFC, all embedded into an SOC infrastructure. You will be responsible for coordinating with a multi-geo team to build functional verification infrastructure with full understanding of the expected design functionality, developing test-plans as well as guiding the functional verification of complex SoCs by deploying UVM testbenches until coverage goals are achieved. You will have a great opportunity to work on cutting edge digital chipsets, to leverage your pre and post silicon debug expertise, and to develop the industrys best-in-class SOC verification methodologies. You will be involved in the SoC life cycle from concept to tape out to production.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

+ 2+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

+ 2+ years of directly related industry experience working on ASIC /SoC Verification projects and teams.

+ Planning and tracking project deliverables.

+ Tracking verification metrics to achieve high quality SoC tape outs.

+ Strong knowledge in Object Oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms

+ In-depth knowledge of Digital Logic design techniques and principles, including low power design techniques.

+ Knowledge of wireless protocols such as Bluetooth, WLAN, and Zigbee is a plus

+ In-depth knowledge in SoC architecture, including CPUs, communications peripherals, multi-domain clocking, bus & interconnect structures, and power management.

+ Fluent architectural and verification knowledge of high- performance bus protocols such as AHB and AXI.

+ Hands-on experience and expert level knowledge on HVL based verification flow (OVM, UVM), testbench automation, industry standard bug tracking techniques, and regression mechanisms.

+ Thorough understanding of code and functional coverage-driven verification closure and be able to set up and deploy verification strategies based on directed testing, randomization, assertions, and architectural performance testing to achieve coverage.

+ Strong programming skills in High Level Language, scripting, or assembly level is a plus.

+ Demonstrable experience developing leading-edge verification environments and making continual improvements to increase competitiveness.
