Job Overview

This position is for a Software Developer in the Advanced Technology R&D team, a forward-looking group focused on bringing new user experiences and technology innovation to the areas of mobile, audio, VR/AR, automotive, biometrics, consumer devices, and more. You will be working on a team that develops new IP and prototypes new hardware accessories and software applications primarily focused on Android, Linux, Windows, and embedded platforms. Activities include: creating new Android applications, Linux drivers, developing and modifying frameworks and SDKs, and interfacing with new hardware. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

8+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.

4+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong C/C++ experience is desired.

Java or C# experience is a plus

Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

Strong Object Oriented Design fundamentals and design pattern experience is desired.

Experience in fingerprint or related biometrics is strongly desired

Experience developing and debugging in embedded environments

Familiarity with Trustzone development is strongly desired

Experience in Linux or Android driver development Prior experience with Snapdragon/QDSP platform

Technical understanding of wireless applications and network protocols Strong debugging skills and familiar with debugging environments such as gdb, JTAG/Trace32

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self motivated and quick learner

Good team player

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
