**Job Overview** QUALCOMM’s Cyber Security Solutions (QCSS) division develops special products based on its wireless terrestrial and satellite communication technologies for the military, federal, local, and foreign governments. QCSS also does specialized work for the US government based on QUALCOMM’s core technologies. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance. QCSS is looking for a software engineer with a proven track record of working on platforms such as AMSS or Android. The individual will work on a variety of projects crossing multiple disciplines from across the company to deliver timely results to Customers. Embedded software development skills are required. The individual needs to know how to utilize off-target development and debugging platforms in-addition to on target development.
Ideal/Preferred candidate has an active Secret/Top Secret clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Previous Security Clearance also highly considered.
Design and development of embedded and application-level software primarily on AMSS, IOS and Android platforms. Low-level debug skills and resolution of firmware and software issues with JTAG based debug tools. Scripting language development to support rapid prototype and unit test development. Assembly-level programming skills in ARM, QDSP or similar instruction sets a plus. Ability to come up to speed quickly on complex systems, perform technical research and thoroughly document technical findings. Ideal candidate:

**Minimum Qualifications** Experience in one or more of the following areas required:
+ Embedded software development
+ C/C++ programming skills
+ Industry experience with low-level programming of embedded systems
+ CPUs such as the ARM7, QDSP or similar
+ C, C++, and their development systems
+ JTAG debuggers
+ IDA Pro or similar tools
+ AMSS/Android/IOS software development
+ Software design/development of communication protocols
+ Software design/development of sensor related drivers and algorithms
+ C#, .NET, JAVA, Perl or Python
**Preferred Qualifications** Preferred:
+ DSP or SDR experience highly desirable
+ Experience with other RTOSs such as VxWorks, Nucleus, ThreadX, Embedded Linux a plus
+ Familiarity with wireless systems and protocols including CDMA/UMTS/LTE a plus
