Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm Technology Licensing (QTL) strategy team. This role focuses on providing analytical support to help QTL management evaluate new licensing opportunities, support the annual strategic planning process, as well as assist in evaluating potential acquisitions and investment opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to financial modeling (business case creation/evaluation, scenario analysis, company valuation, etc.), market research/sizing, competitor assessment.
We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter, comfortable with rolling up their sleeves to complete in-depth financial analysis and translating their findings into actionable business insights. Our team operates in a fast-paced environment, while supporting multiple cross-functional teams. Successful candidate should be able to clearly communicate their findings to non-finance focused audiences.

Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a finance, strategy, or consulting related occupation.
Preferred Qualifications
Market research resourcefulness and / or equity analysis skills (experience researching public company filings, and equity analyst reports)
Deep understanding of financial valuation concepts
Advanced Excel modeling skills
Team Player
Strong organizational/time management skills along with ability to perform in a tight deadline driven environment.
Prior work experience in technology and / or licensing related industries
Working knowledge of Thomson Reuters Eikon
Strong PowerPoint skills
Comfortable presenting in front of divisional management
Education Requirements
Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration or Economics. MBA preferred. Depending on experience level, we are open to evaluating both pre- and post-MBA candidates
