The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting Vendor Collaboration activities across all markets of the company for their assigned categories. This includes data collection for vendor scorecards, working on specific collaborative improvement projects, and also ad-hoc data reporting and other initiatives. Specifically, the role will be responsible for collecting data from a number of different systems, as well as compiling detailed and dashboard views of vendor performance (scorecards). The position will assist in preparation for value-stream mapping sessions, and also document the results and findings from the sessions after completion. The Sr. Analyst will analyze the performance of vendors in their categories and develop and present strategic recommendations aimed at driving overall business performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Consolidate data from a number of different systems (e.g., PRISM, Retalix, SCPO, Discoverer) to populate the vendor performance metrics. Perform standard and ad-hoc reporting from this data set. Validate data integrity and trouble shoot irregularities.
+ Leverage analytical best practices, working with the rest of the vendor collaboration team to continually enhance the scope of performance metrics
+ Lead short- and medium-term projects (<6 months in duration) for specific vendors within assigned categories. Define project scope, timelines, benefits, and see projects to completion. + Process Improvement lead for assigned categories, developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of activities at all markets, highlighting best in class, differences, and similarities. Perform benchmarking of industry best practices to help identify areas for improvement + Analyze vendor data, identifying opportunities where there are data gaps (e.g., Ti-Hi, lead time gaps, ) and develop and implement solutions to close the gaps + Work with the key stake holders develop new reporting; + Work with team leads to ensure understanding of reporting + Elevate the effectiveness of data analytics by routinely sharing and collaborating with peers to improve the standardization and sophistication of analytic services. + Regularly review and streamline/automate reports and processes to gain efficiencies. # EOE Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/Protected Veteran/Disability Status **Qualifications-** *Education/Training:*Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field required; MBA preferred. Related Experience/Requirements:5 years relevant business experience required. Experience with relational data bases required. Prior experience designing financial models or forecasting preferred Prior process management experience preferred. Prior foodservice, food retailing or food manufacturing experience preferred. Prior operations, finance or economics experience preferred. Minimum 1 year project management experience preferred. *Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:* + Has successfully worked in a complex organization which supports a variety of stakeholders. + Has been involved solving complex business problems using measurements and analysis to support decision making. + Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
