Accountable for enterprise consolidation and related reporting, supporting the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and an effective internal control environment. Accountable for comprehensive financial statement analytics, demonstrating command of enterprise financial statements and key business drivers of the results of operations. Serves as liaison to Corporate functional areas including accounting process stream leaders, FP&A, Investor Relations, M&A, Treasury, and internal and external auditors. Oversees the general ledger and related governance.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Lead consolidation and reporting activities, including close coordination and internal and external financial statement preparation, as applicable, ensuring timely and reliable financial data. Support the development of standardized supplemental reporting, as it may be required by local operating units.
+ Lead the development of robust financial statement analytics, which support the external financial reporting view.
+ Support SEC reporting director with the development of Management’s Discussion and Analysis, leveraging periodic financial statement analytics.
+ Support Investor Relations and Financial Planning & Analysis function with relevant financial statement data for press releases, earnings presentations, board materials, etc. Review materials, as applicable, for reasonableness and consistency with Management’s Discussion and Analysis.
+ Support periodic reporting for special purpose entities, as needed, including bank collateral reporting and audits
+ Support treasury function with financial statement inputs that support periodic debt compliance computations.
+ Serve as a key member and center of excellence on financial systems, and provide guidance and partner with IT function in financial systems design and enhancements, ensuring sound financial reporting controls and ensuring compliance requirements are met; accountable for general ledger systems for US Foods, Inc., USF Holding Corp and special purpose entities.
+ Supports M&A activities and related reporting and financial systems changes and controls over general ledger and reporting tools.
+ Facilitate relationship with internal and external audit teams and process streams, as applicable.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
-Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including significant experience in leading and coaching accounting/analysis teams. Consumer products or distribution/manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
-Public company experience and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in public accounting firm preferred; _Big 4 or second tier a plus._
-Expertise and experience with sophisticated systems and other commonly-used financial system tools required. PeopleSoft and Hyperion experience a plus.
