Qualcomm’s Corporate Legal Department is looking for a candidate with a strong background for generating creative content, data visualizations, and white papers. A combination of analytical and creative story telling skills are highly valued.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multifaceted, high-visibility, and fast paced function that traverses international policy, legal, and strategy initiatives. The candidate is responsible for researching, identifying, generating, and organizing a wide variety of internal and external content on technology and policy; and independently managing multiple projects per year. Strong presentation skills and experience in engaging with policymakers is highly valued.

This role places a strong emphasis on individual contribution high volume output with minimal oversight, and strong collaboration skills are expected.

You will have an opportunity to leverage your existing skills while learning new ones in a fast-paced startup environment within a large company. You will have access to a broad network of business, policy, and legal experts. You will work closely with the Government Affairs/Policy leads in various countries, and other business leaders.

Minimum Qualifications

+ 5-8 years of relevant experience in communications in the policy world.

+ Experience in independently managing projects and completing them while meeting various deadlines.

+ Experience in the art of storytelling, especially based on data and analysis is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior work experience for creating briefs, white papers, and creative content at a policy or research institution or in a corporate setting; Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) and wireless telecom industry; Motivated Self-Starter; Critical thinker; Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills; Experience leading projects for an international audience and managing internal teams and external partners helpful.

Education Requirements

Preferred: Master’s, Business Administration

Preferred: Juris Doctor, Law Degree

Preferred: Masters/PhD Economics
