**Job Description:**

**Basic Purpose-**

This individual will be responsible for coordination, preparation and submission of responses to requests-for-proposals (RFPs) submitted on behalf of Premier/ US Foods. This role will work with Premier contacts, legal department contacts and sales/ business development resources from the support office and the field sales organization to write and prepare RFPs. Additionally, this role will execute key program activities in support of the Premier Foodservice program to include, but not limited to: annual Customer Satisfaction Surveys, USF Field Sales Force Premier Certification, Premier Regional Council Meeting Coordination, Premier Breakthroughs annual conference, SharePoint site management and communication, Premier News-To-Know Newsletter publication (writing, assembly and distribution), and other duties to support the marketing and execution of the Premier Foodservice Program.

**Description-**

+ Coordinate the various parties (Sales, Legal, Market basket, Customer (as needed) and Premier resources) to develop and gain approval for request-for-proposal submissions on behalf of US Foods and Premier. Timeliness and adherence to deadlines is critical;
+ Utilize Microsoft Office suite to ensure professional creation and submission of RFPs. Execute multiple RFPs simultaneously, following the specific instructions and timelines outlined in each individual RFP response;
+ Collaborate with the market basket team to ensure final documentation is presented in customer required formats;
+ Execute operational and marketing tasks throughout the year, planning these events, coordinating resources and dates, as well as communicating necessary details to the field for execution in a professional and timely manner;
+ Work with the Premier Support Office staff to manage appropriate communications to the field, to include Premier News-To-Know Newsletter, Premier SharePoint site, Premier Yammer Page, and Premier Splash page for customers;
+ Support level service reporting and surveys, coordinating with the field on appropriate follow-up and tracking.

**Qualifications-**

**Education:**

+ It is preferred that candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

**Experience:**

+ Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience is required;
+ Sales / Marketing experience is a bonus.

***Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:***

+ Solid Microsoft Office skills are required;
+ Ability to meet and work under pressure of deadlines is required;
+ Excellent oral/written communication skills (upward communication skills are critical);
+ Strong interpersonal skills;
+ Entrepreneurial mindset (ability to multi-task, resourcefulness, willingness to take the initiative, creative thinker, sales responsiveness);
+ Must be well organized with strong follow through;
+ Strong project management skill set.
