Qualcomm is looking for team-oriented individuals who are experienced in system engineering incorporating multiple disciplines including mixed signal design, firmware, system architecture, signal processing, ultrasonic sensors signal conditioning, and modeling.

Responsibilities include development of mixed signal architectures, requirements and specifications for circuits and sensors, custom logic blocks, analog drive circuitry, and architecture for software and firmware. Responsibilities include also sensor interaction software, and signal processing. You will be interfacing with engineering teams involved in Sensor design, IC design, Algorithm and Software development. Expect to also be involved in hands-on prototype development, validation and characterization of designs.

**Minimum Qualifications** **5+ years of related experience in one or more of below skills:**

+ Understanding of technologies including: acoustics, ultrasonics, imaging, biometrics

+ Technical leadership, judgment, the ability to define, articulate, and drive a credible technical vision

+ ASIC architecture design and specifications

+ Analog/Mixed Signal/Logic system design

+ Signal processing and conditioning

+ Driving systems definitions for multi-functional teams and product interface, including software, sensors, hardware and ASIC teams

+ Leading features development in cross-functional teams

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience using simulations tools such as MATLAB, Pspice and Cadence

+ Experience in system modeling

+ Experience in embedded programming

+ Hand-on experience with hardware prototyping including reviewing PCB schematic and layout design, and selection of passive components

+ Hands-on experience with testing, debug and bring-up of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits and systems with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers and other laboratory equipment

+ Record of research and technical publications

+ Strong interpersonal and communications skills

**Education Requirements** Preferred: Doctorate, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Required: Master’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
