**Job Overview** Qualcomm Research is taking its traditional strengths in digital wireless technologies & extending it in exciting new fields where we design and build systems for new technologies. The Qualcomm Research Systems Test and Integration team builds and tests prototype systems for new technologies. System Integration and Test (SI&T) team members interact closely with systems engineering and software/hardware developers to test and evaluate prototype systems. This includes defining testing goals, writing test plans, executing tests, trouble shooting and performing detailed post processing analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in testing, enjoy working in a lab environment, drive testing, be proactive, and have a hands-on approach to work assignments. Prime responsibilities will be system integration and test of systems related to autonomous driving. Candidates must have great interest in new technologies and willing to learn. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required and must be able to work well with others in a technical environment. Some travel for tradeshows, vehicle testing and customer support may be required.

**Minimum Qualifications** -Academic or industry experience in the following required: -ADAS/Autonomous systems (Autonomous Driving and/or Robotics)

-System integration of sensors (Radar, Lidar, Camera), actuators, or by-wire vehicle controls

**Preferred Qualifications** -Knowledge in some of the following areas: algorithms for sensor signal processing, computer vision, radar processing, sensor fusion, feature extraction, classification and tracking, localization, 3D mapping, route planning, motion planning, obstacle avoidance, vehicle dynamics.

-Deal with both hardware and software components

-Data analysis and manipulation for results understanding and presentations

-Navigation systems (accelerometers, magnetometers, gyros, GPS, IMU).

-Must be familiar working with and testing applications on Windows, Linux and Android.

-Must be able to work with the following programing languages and environments: Matlab, Python, Java, OpenCV, C/C++, etc.

-Must have great interest in new technologies and willing to learn

-In-vehicle experimental validation and testing

-Use of toolsets for acquisition, data processing, and visualization of large-scale data sets

-Implementation of computer and sensor architectures and interfaces

**Education Requirements** Required: Bachelor’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

Preferred: Master’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
