QUALCOMM’s Cyber Security Solutions (QCSS) division develops special products based on its wireless terrestrial and satellite communication technologies for the military, federal, local, and foreign governments. **Must have an active Top Secret clearance, or be a U.S. citizen and be eligible for clearance.**
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In this role as a Test Engineer, you will support government-sponsored research, development, integration and test of such systems, including adaptation and extension of commercial systems to novel applications and environments, as well as internal development efforts.
Engineer will be responsible for working closely with other engineering disciplines to develop system level test using both an automation test framework for test execution as well as manually develop test plans. Prime responsibility will be System Integration and Test (SI&T). Additional responsibilities include: performing requirement analysis, designing and executing test cases, and performing basic root cause analysis. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. Candidate must be willing to travel on occasion and be able to work well with others in a technical environment.

3+ years industry experience required in one or more of the following areas:
+ Test Automation development including use of Python and Java languages
+ Application layer protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP) and network and socket communications
+ Mobile platform operating systems including Linux, Android, and iOS
+ Ability to load and execute code and do basic debugging of applications (Java, Objective-C, C, C++)
+ Test Automation framework design and development
+ Experience with cellular systems, including devices and applications for voice and data, and associated test equipment and tools
+ Understanding of communications systems including both physical and upper layers
+ Experience evaluating wireless communications systems through drive tests, logging and post analysis
+ Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Testlink and Redmine
Bachelor’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering, and/or Mathematics and/or Physics required.
Master’s, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering and/or Mathematics and/or Physics preferred.
