**Job Description:**

**Basic Purpose-**

US Foods is seeking a technically strong individual to work with a team of other Technical Support Analysts. This role includes responding to system alerts and troubleshooting and resolving various technical issues.



+ Manage and configure monitor system and diagnosing production processing performance
+ Respond to system alerts and troubleshooting and resolving problems
+ Facilities the change management approval processes, task management, and escalates to upper management for high risk approvals
+ Build, configure, and test automated patch software
+ Manage relationships with IT hardware and software vendors – software as service
+ Identifies, analyzes and resolve issues including escalations when appropriate
+ Documents problem resolution utilizing standard procedures / tools
+ Communicates problem resolution and their impact to customers
+ Assists in the deployment of solutions and associated documentation

*Education/Training:*B.S. preferred

*Related Experience:*

+ 2 years’ experience in Application Server Administration using one or more of the following: WebLogic, WebSphere, IIS or Tomcat
+ 3 years’ general IT experience
+ Experience with one or more Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.)
+ Experience with one or more Programming Languages (VB.NET, Java, C#, ASP, Visual Basic, etc.)
+ Background in Linux/Windows OS troubleshooting and administration
+ Preferred background in SQL Developer or similar tools, running and updating database queries
+ Preferred background in troubleshooting issues with TIBCO, EMS, BW, MFT or WebMethods (messages stuck in queues, job failures, file transfer failures, etc.)


+ Ability to support at least 2 different technology domains
+ Incident & Problem Management experience
+ Strong analytical and communication skills
