Responsible to work in Design Technology team along with physical design teams for timing sign off convergence for complex SOCs across multiple sites and different technology nodes. Timing validation and debug across multiple PVT conditions. Run Primetime and/or Tempus for STA flow optimization and Spice to STA correlation. Individual contributor for timing sign off convergence, automations and methodology development.

Qualification in the order of priority (any one of the qualification below will qualify for the open position):

Responsible to work in Design Technology team along with physical design teams for timing sign off convergence for complex SOCs across multiple sites and different technology nodes. Timing validation and debug across multiple PVT conditions. Run Primetime and/or Tempus for STA flow optimization and Spice to STA correlation. Individual contributor for timing sign off convergence, automations and methodology development.

Qualification in the order of priority (any one of the qualification below will qualify for the open position):

1.Experience with Static timing analysis: Responsible for timing convergence using PT/Tempus for digital System on Chip designs. Experience with block/subsystem/full chip timing closure (at least 3-5years experience). Experience with Timing sign off is highly coveted.

2.Experience with working with large design/PD team, guiding/helping them on all stages of timing convergence.

3.Experience with Timing corners, STA vs. silicon correlation, PVT dependency, tape-in/Tape-out process.

4.Ability to understand IP custom circuit timing and help design/timing convergence.

5.Experience in design automation using TCL/Perl/Python. Experience with Library modeling NLDM/CCS/CCSN/ECSM and library variation using CBAOCV/POCV/LVF/Moments. On chip variation AOCV/POCV.

6.Familiar with digital flow design implementation RTL to GDS : DC/DCT/DCG, Genus, ICC, Innovus , PT/Tempus

7.Familiar with process technology enablement: Technology files definition for physical design tools. Spice simulation Hspice/FineSim/Spectre/AFS, Monte Carlo. Process technology evaluation device FEOL and BEOL parameters (FinFET technology SOI). Reliability assessment FEOL/BEOL. Silicon to spice model correlation.

8.Computer science or/and Electrical engineering background. Linear programming, statistical analysis and/or Machine Learning.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

+ 5+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

+ MS or PhD,

+ High level of experience with Timing sign off and Design/Timing Methodology Development

+ 8+ years experience in Timing Sign off or Physical Design/Timing Methodology, Automation in TCL/Perl/Python or C/C++, RTL to GDS implementation design flow
