**Job Overview** Qualcomm Touch Group is seeking an experienced Design / system Engineer who is keen on playing a significant role in the development of the next generation of sensors and touch products.

The candidate should have direct experience and a proven track record in the area of sensors and touch solutions for mobile devices in addition to working knowledge in displays and touch panels technologies.

Responsibilities include the following:

+ Explore and characterize the next generation of sensors and AFEs

+ Interface and collaborate with systems, architects and design engineers on the evaluation of sensors and the next generation of touch products

+ Build rapid prototypes and run experiments to evaluate and characterize the next generation sensors and AFE architectures

+ Support building PC boards for lab evaluation, silicon emulation and end users demonstrations

+ Participate in pre Si verification

+ Participate and drive Si characterization and debug

+ Build FPGA platforms to validate digital performance

**Minimum Qualifications** A minimum of 5 years of experience in the following areas:

+ System and/or chip level experience for sensors, sensors interface architectures and signal processing

+ Build rapid lab prototyping systems for touch sensors, HW silicon emulations, skills to devise and run experiments to validate sensor and AFE performance

+ Lab measurements, bench characterization and silicon debug skills

+ PC board design skills

+ Programming skills in LabView, C, C++, C-sharp and PERL/Python.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Background in analog blocks such as opamps, ADCs, DAC, references and clock circuits.

+ Use transistor and behavioral level simulation tools in a Cadence environment

+ Demo and present new sensor technologies to end users

+ Background in display panels LCD and LED

+ Build FPGA prototypes

**Education Requirements** Required: Master’s, Electrical Engineering
