GENERAL SUMMARY

Join an outstanding legal team within the Intellectual Property Department (“IPD”) division. A Program Analyst, Specialist with a legal background is sought for a coordinator role in our legal analyst team, to be responsible for supporting the administration of various legal and technical support programs critical to Qualcomm’s business. Tasks include managing a high volume of support requests, interacting directly with customers, coordinating internal and external review meetings, tracking action items, analyzing data and preparing reports. The role will focus primarily on coordinating patent infringement analysis and due diligence. Additional responsibilities as a coordinator include limited functional supervision/guidance for more junior analysts; the design and improvement of processes and procedures utilizing a variety of available tools; and providing documentation and training on new processes and process changes.Skills required include the ability to work closely with a wide range of cross-functional groups at all levels from administrative to executive including legal, engineering, and external customers. This role requires an individual who is proactive, highly organized, extremely detail oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective communications skills involving legally sensitive information. External interactions with third parties are expected, including managing contracts, engaging with outside counsel, and interacting with Qualcomm customers and vendors. Daily tasks include tracking actions and tasks, communicating status, escalating potential risks to management, tracking changes, scheduling program meetings, preparing agendas, drafting meeting notes, and maintaining the program databases using tools such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Jira, and MSTeams. Additional Preferred Requirements• Paralegal certificate or related legal/contracts experience• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including MSTeams• Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint• 2+ years’ experience in a legal/paralegal role• An understanding of intellectual property topics• Bachelor’s Degree in Legal or technical field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Frequently transports between offices, buildings and campuses up to ½ mile.

+ Frequently transports and install equipment up to 5 lbs.

+ Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g. standing or sitting).

+ Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

+ Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers and vendors both in person and remotely.
