Position Summary
The Advancement Report Analyst converts data into information for colleagues by building and maintaining reports to meet business needs. The Advancement Report Analyst plays a critical role in supporting data-informed decision-making within the Advancement division. This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and documentation of reports and dashboards in Evergreen (Salesforce), Apsona, and Tableau Cloud. The analyst collaborates closely with end users to understand reporting needs, translates business requirements into actionable insights, and ensures data governance standards are upheld.

In addition to technical reporting responsibilities, the role includes consulting and training functions. The analyst provides guidance and support to Advancement staff and campus partners on the effective use of reporting tools, contributes to training initiatives, and fosters a culture of data literacy. This position also supports continuous improvement through professional development, peer collaboration, and the promotion of best practices in fundraising analytics.

Minimum Requirements
• College level courses in statistics (at least six quarter hours); research methods and techniques (e.g., research design, sampling, surveying, etc.); and computer software application or packages (e.g., Statistical Analyses System, Lotus 1-2-3, etc.); OR
• Three years of experience assisting with the gathering, compiling, analyzing, and reporting of research information and statistical data plus assisting with the drafting of this information into narrative or statistical reports,; OR
• An equivalent combination of training and experience.
Transcripts must be submitted for all required and/or related courses.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with &/or ability to learn general office, fundraising, analysis and reporting specific software. This includes Microsoft Office suite of products, Apsona, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, Tableau Cloud, Salesforce, SPSS Statistics, SPSS Modeler, fundraising CRMs, mapping software and familiarity with a computer programming language.
• Experience working in higher education fundraising or non-profit environment.
