Overview
Position Summary: This position provides varied, complex and confidential office administrative and accounting assistance to the Human Services staff.
Duties:
• Greets all clients, visitors, community members and others entering the department in a timely and courteous manner;
• Coordinates, processes and schedules appointments and travel for Human Services staff as requested;
• Designs, implements, and maintains comprehensive filing system including related databases for GA, Tribal Crisis Program, Adult Wards, ICWA, and other programs;
• Maintains confidential records of all phone calls, appointments, and meetings;
• Responsible for accurate filing of all documents;
• Completes procurement procedures for all Human Services budget items and ward’s needs;
• Maintains office supplies, office equipment, and coordinates procurement procedures;
• Plans and organizes special projects as directed by the Manager;
• Ensures the consistent security of all privileged and confidential information in accordance with Tribal, State, and Federal laws, codes, regulations, and policies;
• Maintains office hours during lunch and meeting periods to ensure full service for clients;
• Coordinates referrals and other services between RSIC departments and outside agencies;
• Maintains knowledge of departmental practices, policies, regulations, and RSIC procedures
• Performs all job-related duties as assigned by the Manager while abiding by the strictest level of confidentiality.
• Assist manager in collecting statistical client information and generate Tribal and Federal Agency reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED at time of hire.
• Eligibility for RSIC Vehicle Insurance Program at time of hire.
• Ability to successfully communicate in English both verbally and in writing;
• Intermediate/Advanced proficiency level in computer skills including but not limited to Excel, poser point and Windows programs
• Advanced capability of creating Excel spreadsheets for program monitoring and record keeping

• Knowledge of General Assistance, ICWA and Social Services
• Experience with finance procedures, budget monitoring and contracts and grants
• Ability to file, use office equipment, and multiple phone lines at time of hire.
