Job Description: Under the general direction of the District Division Chief of Construction, the Senior Landscape Architect/Construction Engineer (CE) is responsible for the administration/delivery of large, complex construction projects or multiple smaller projects assigned to Resident-Engineers and the District Construction Storm Water Coordinator (DCSWC). The CE is responsible for managing all assigned landscape projects in District 11 and must ensure that all assigned projects are completed in accordance with the approved scope, on schedule, and within budget. The DCSWC is responsible for managing the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Program for all contracts in District 11. Supervises field engineering and landscape architecture employees performing contract administration and SWPPP work on large, complex field projects or multiple smaller projects, ensuring projects are in conformance with all applicable laws, specifications and plans. Incumbent serves as the Supervisor to a multi-disciplinary team.
Possession of a valid Certificate of Registration as a Landscape Architect issued by the California Board of Landscape Architects required. Possession of a valid California driver’s license is required to operate a State vehicle.
