The Audio Test Technician is responsible for organizing and maintaining the laboratory. Duties include building demonstration units needed by the validation and engineering group for product development and testing. You will be responsible for executing and documenting subjective audio tests on various algorithms that are released into the ADK.

Job Duties:

+ Organize and maintain lab facilities

+ Purchase and maintain test equipment

+ Configure test stations as required

+ Create and/or modify demonstration units and prototypes

+ Liaise with internal and external assembly departments as necessary

+ Assist in testing and debugging

+ Record-keeping and reports

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in departmental planning

+ Experience of working in an audio test environment, with familiarity of proprietary equipment and test methodology (analogue and digital)

+ Highly familiar with Microsoft applications and computing hardware

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Methodical, organized and conscientious

+ Strong mechanical skills for building and designing demonstration units

+ Excellent team player, able to work in a pressured environment against changing priorities and deadlines

+ Excellent soldering skills

+ Exposure to testing Bluetooth or WiFi technologies

+ Familiarity with audio testing

+ Familiarity with objective audio test equipment and standards

+ Installation and configuration of PC software
